Apply to participate as a paid Land Art Assistant at Waterlines, Hinze Dam with lead artists Marcus Tatton and Shannon Best.

+ Attend the SITELINES Land Art Symposium followed by City of Gold Coast Public Art Information Session.
Honorarium fee available of $1490. Eight Gold Coast Artists will be selected.

The program is designed to increase local capacity through inspiring, educating and encouraging public art creation, and storytelling responding to site. Connecting with Country and telling the stories of the City of Gold Coast. Celebrating cultural heritage, and highlighting our culture, that is distinctly Gold Coast, adding to the shaping cultural legacy of the future through public art, to solidify the City of Gold Coast as a place where culture is every day. To show the world that the City of Gold Coast is a cultural destination with artistic integrity through meaningful public art that builds civic pride and social cohesion. Public art that the public is proud of.
SITELINES PUBLIC ART SYMPOSIUM AT WATERLINES The Gold Coast Community and all residency Artists are invited to attend the afternoon symposium at View Café Hinze Dam on Saturday 27 April 2024 from 2pm to 5:30pm where lead artists of the exhibition, Waterlines, will deliver a 40-minute presentation followed by an artist panel and Q & A with Co-Founder and Artistic Director Natasha Edwards. Invited Speakers Marcus Tatton, Land Art from the Heart Shannon Best, Interconnectedness of culture, community, and the natural world Corrina Bonshek, Sculpting with Sound SITELINES Symposium is free and open to the public to attend.
